Christina K. Smith is a seasoned non-profit and foundation management executive with 25 years of highly successful leadership and fundraising experience. She has raised over $350 million in private philanthropy and $1 billion in public-private partnerships.

Her leadership experience includes leading and growing a multi-million-dollar philanthropic educational foundation, senior leadership roles in public and private higher education, and launching and rapidly growing two nonprofit international humanitarian organizations.

Christina also is a recognized international peace builder and Middle East and Central Asia foreign policy specialist focused on the social and political rehabilitation of highly traumatized societies. She has served both US and foreign governmental and non-governmental organizations in Kuwait, Iraq, Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo, Bosnia, the Palestinian territories and spent 7 years in Afghanistan helping to rebuild the country after 9/11.

A recent transplant to Colorado, Christina now resides in Colorado Springs. She is an avid kayaker, sports enthusiast and enjoys investing herself in mentoring young leaders and working to end food insecurity domestically and globally.
