Celebrating Philanthropic Achievement

One of the main purposes of the Colorado Association of REALTORS® Foundation is to celebrate and recognize the philanthropic achievements and community service of Colorado REALTORS®.

Toward this end, CARF’s Board of Directors has established the Neil Kimmel Distinguished Service Award named in honor and memory of Neil Kimmel, a highly respected Colorado REALTOR®, CARF founding board member and past president of the Colorado Association of REALTORS® Housing Opportunity Foundation (CARHOF), who passed away in 2017.

Neil’s personal and professional life embodied fully the ideals for which this significant award named in his memory intends to advance: philanthropic generosity, community service and volunteerism.

This significant statewide recognition will be awarded annually, beginning in 2018, by the Colorado Association of REALTORS® Foundation at the annual fall meeting of the Colorado Association of REALTORS®.

The award intends to celebrate and recognize an outstanding Colorado REALTOR® who exemplifies:

  • Community Service & Volunteerism

  • Personal Philanthropy

  • Support for the mission and vision of the Colorado REALTOR® Foundation

Colorado REALTORS® are eligible to submit nominations of qualified candidates. Nominations are to be submitted to sbrown@coloradorealtors.com to be reviewed by CARF’s board of directors between June 1 and August 15.

Guidelines for nominations and required nomination materials will be posted on this page by May 15 each year.
